Appointments are made during office hours by calling (907)339-9700. If your appointment cannot be kept due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible so we may offer the time to another patient. We pride ourselves on promptness, and attempt to keep our waiting time as short as possible. Patients that have multiple missed appointments may be discharged from the practice.
After Hours & Emergency Care
If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For all other calls, an on-call physician is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week at 907-339-9700. Dr. DeKeyser is in a call group of physicians, and chooses call partners who are professional and have a similar philosophy of patient care. Emergencies will always receive priority regardless of the day or time. Please do not wait to call. If you happen to be in our office when an emergency arises, we ask for your patience for the delay. We appreciate your understanding, and believe our patients will find reassurance knowing they would receive the same care in a similar situation.
Please call your pharmacy first to check on your refill status. Prescriptions are renewed during normal office hours. Please allow 72 hours for renewals. We may require the patient to be scheduled for an appointment prior to a prescription renewal.
All laboratory results are reviewed by the providers. Lab results will be placed on your patient portal, feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding these results. For your convenience, our laboratory service comes to the office to draw blood and collect specimens. Most laboratory procedures are billed by an outside lab. If your insurance requires you to go to a specific laboratory, please notify your provider. If you have billing questions regarding your laboratory charges, please call the lab company that performed the testing.
All medical records are confidential and will not be released without the patient’s authority unless otherwise required by law. To request a copy of your medical records, a release of information form must be signed by the patient. One copy of your medical record will be furnished to you at no cost.
We are dedicated to providing the best possible care and customer service for you. We want you to understand our financial policy so that we can work collaboratively to achieve reimbursement for services we rendered for you.
Our Office is a preferred provider with Aetna, Premera Blue Cross, and CIGNA. If you have a PPO, HMO or other insurance, please contact your insurance company for coverage of our services. It is the patient’s responsibility to pay for services rendered, regardless of your insurance coverage. As medical care providers, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. Our goal is to provide fast and efficient billing as a courtesy to you. To accomplish this, patients must be aware of their insurance coverage, provide complete and accurate insurance information, and to notify the office immediately of changes to your insurance coverage. Please remember to bring your insurance card(s) with you to each appointment.
It is expected that our patients pay at the time of service. Our Medicaid patients are required to bring a copy of their Medicaid coupon and pay a $3 co-pay at each visit. Our office accepts Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, and cash for payment.
Please contact our office (907-339-9700) for financial concerns or billing/insurance issues.
